The Faculty of Science, UODA comprises of two departments namely, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) & Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (ETE). We have submitted Outcome Based Curriculum of “Information and Communication Technology (ICT Engineering)” and “Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)” to the University Grants Commission (UGC). We are planning to establish an ICT & EEE departments very soon in this Faculty.

The Departments of the Faculty of Science provides students with practical and industry- focused programs in a world class university at the forefront of engineering, technology and innovation. Our Mission is to create a new generation of skilled engineers, self- reliant, forward looking individuals with indomitable energy and self- confidence.

We emphasize on hiring faculties actively engaged in quality teaching, research and services to the society. We always welcome prospective persons having high academic and research standing with a strong motivation to become members of our team. We have a good number of faculties of international reputation in both teaching and research. Our students are benefited from expert lecturers who are at the leading edge of research as well as our strong links with the industry. Our industry based learning program has been operating from its inception.

We always provide a state of the art environment for teaching learning so that every student can explore and maximize her / his potential to become a successful professional to serve the nation. We have well equipped laboratory and infrastructural facilities. Besides we provide lecture sequence and lecture modules before beginning the courses of each semester which are strictly followed by our faculties and students.

Class rooms are neat and clean, air-conditioned, with comfortable seating arrangement. All the rooms carry multimedia projectors and proper ventilations & lights. Labs are also properly equipped and well facilitated. We always encourage meritorious students to harvest the excellence of education provided in our programs.
